I AM NOT A VEGETABLE
I am not a vegetable, but there are similarities
They are green, I like green and pink like my capillaries
I am not a vegetable , but I like them with my gravy
The outer leaves are tough, but inside sometimes squashy
Vegetables have their hearts pulled out, and that’s happened to me
One minute your a pumpkin, and then you are a pea
Vegetables get chopped and boiled are sometimes eaten raw
Metaphorically thats happened, all thats left is core.
Leave them in the garden, I like being in the back
I lounge in my deck chair, they’re put into a pack
vegetables are lovely, full natural goodness
If I am a vegetable – I could not care any less.
