Art Activities for Disabled and Neurodiverse People in Surrey

DAiSY works with its members and cultural partners on a range of community arts projects. These happen in different locations around the county, and usually focus on a theme. Through these projects we bring people together, teach new skills and deliver positive mental and physical wellbeing outcomes.

DAiSY: ReGrowth

DAiSY: ReGrowth

During 2020 DAiSY delivered an online programme called DAiSY:ReGrowth. The programme was designed and developed in response to Covid-19, as a central issue during the pandemic was how disabled and inclusive artists could continue to create while socially isolating.

During Summer 2021 dance artist Cherie Brennan worked with Bloomin Arts, Rhythmic Collision and halow Project on a dance project exploring nature.
Flock of Birds

Flock of Birds

As we have all enjoyed watching and listening to the birds over the last 18 months, we thought it would be wonderful to create our own flocks of birds to roost in trees in a fun hour and half long workshop.
