I started painting and writing 20 years ago following a very serious mental health crisis. I find it hard to believe there was a time in my life when I wasn’t being creative. I spent about 15 years attending creative response in Farnham. I have exhibited two pieces of my work at the Pallant house gallery in Chichester (which both sold). I have exhibited in many small local exhibitions connected to creative response. I have a passion for colour and texture and work in many mediums including acrylics, ink, charcoal and pastels. I have made many small ceramic sculptures mainly on the theme of the female form and mother and child. Unfortunately at present I don’t have access to a clay room and kiln. I’m hoping to resume this work in the future when I have access to facilities. I also enjoy life drawing which I have an opportunity to pursue with Morag Donnelly in workshops she organises.
